Lovely performance Del.  What a great style this is...I think it's the latest incarnation of 'Dreamy Ballad'?  And indeed it is very dreamy.  With you being a Brass player the phrasing on the Trumpet is perfection, and those BIG Strings sound fantastic.  It's a beautiful post Del and a very worthy entry into the challenge.  Very best Andy

Hi Pete

You have played this beautifully -   Once again, you just sounded very laid
back, let the style do it's thing and came in on the right beats.   Well done

Warm regards

Hi Susie, Andy, challengers and listeners,
"The Shadow of Your Smile", also known as "Love Theme from The Sandpiper", is a popular song. The music was written by Johnny Mandel with the lyrics written by Paul Francis Webster. The song was introduced in the 1965 film The Sandpiper, with a trumpet solo by Jack Sheldon and later became a minor hit for Tony Bennett (Johnny Mandel arranged and conducted his version as well).

Sorry it is a repeat I havn't had much time to get anything out new, but still wanted to support the challenge, hope you still like it.
